Code of conduct at Gloeilamp Events

Welcome to Gloeilamp! We are here to create an inclusive, electrifying space where everyone can express themselves freely. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please follow this Code of Conduct.

 

By attending Gloeilamp, you agree to respect these guidelines.

 

Respect the space and each other. Gloeilamp is a place for everyone, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or ability. Discrimination, harassment, or hate of any kind will not be tolerated. Always seek and respect consent, whether it’s in physical interactions, dancing, or engaging with others. No means no. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, reach out to staff or security. We’re here to ensure your safety.

Take care of yourself and others. Dance hard, but don’t forget to hydrate and rest. There are chill zones at Gloeilamp for when you need to take a break. Look after your friends. If you see someone in distress, help them get the assistance they need. Stay aware of your surroundings and support one another.

Bring positive energy. This event is about freedom, light, and power – let’s uplift each other and keep the Gloeilamp spirit alive. Respect the music. The DJs and performers are at the heart of Gloeilamp. Keep the vibe electric by immersing yourself in the music. Leave aggression at the door. We are here to celebrate, not compete.

Substance safety is essential. Be responsible with any substance use, and never push substances on others. Anyone found violating this policy will be asked to leave. Weapons, illegal substances, and any items deemed harmful to others or the venue are not allowed.

Respect the venue and keep it clean. Help us maintain a clean and safe space by using designated bins and respecting the venue. Take care not to damage equipment, art installations, or other features of Gloeilamp. We are committed to sustainability and minimizing waste.

 

The Gloeilamp event symbolizes the energy transition and the phasing out of the incandescent bulb. Embrace this by participating in sustainability efforts at the event. We encourage environmentally conscious behavior, such as minimizing waste and participating in our recycling efforts.

 

Anyone found in violation of this Code of Conduct may be removed from Gloeilamp without a refund. We reserve the right to take any action necessary to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
